  • Active Transponder
  • Barcode
Barcode is an AutoID Technology based on optoelectronic machine-readable. Data consisting of many bars with different width.
  • EPC (Electronic Product Code)
EPC is acronym of Electronic Product code. This is a standard method of marking object by RFID Technology. EPC C1G2 is standard for UHF frequency.
  • HF – High Frequency
HF – acronym of High Frequency. In RFID sector are used the frequencies working at 13,56 Mhz. Supported standards: ISO 18000-3. ISO 15693 (vicinity), ISO 14443A/B (proximity), Mifare, NFC (Near Field Communication).
  • Inlay
RFID or NFC Inlay is a microchip and antenna deposited on a film without adhesive. This is the basic for realize labels or wet-inlay
  • LF – Low Frequency
LF – acronym of Low Frequency. In RFID sector are used the frequencies working at 125Khz or 134,2Khz. This frequency not have standard and it’s the first frequency used in RFID technology. Actually is obsolete and not more used.
  • Multiplexer
Multiplexer in RFID world is a device that can be connect more than one antenna at the same controller and help to increase reading area or increase easy way to read tag. Frequently used in UHF frequency for create a gate.
  • NFC (Near Field Communication)
NFC it’s an RFID Technology based on HF 13,56MHz Frequency and on ISO14443 make as a bidirectional short range. NFC is developed from Philips, LG, Sony, Samsung and Nokia.
  • Passive Transponder
Passive RFID (NFC) transponder is a tag without battery. The power supply is generated from controller and the information(microchip) is sent to controller with antenna and a capacitor.
  • RFID (NFC) Controller
RFID Controller is a device that read/write data from transponder in a contactless mode. Can be with integrated or external antenna, fixed or mobile, with different reading and writing range.
  • Transponder (or Tag)
Tag or Transponder consist in a microchip with and antenna and a capacitor. The word transponder is a combination of trans(mitter) and (res)ponder.
  • UHF – Ultra High Frequency
UHF – acronym of Ultra High Frequency . In RFID sector are utilized the frequencies working at 860-915 Mhz with different ranges depending on the country standard.  Supported standards: ISO 18000-6c and less frequently ISO18000-6b
